My experience as a pre-final year B. Tech student in Computer Science and Technology has been exceptionally rewarding. The faculty are incredibly supportive and collaborative, providing invaluable guidance and constructive feedback. Dayananda Sagar University has always believed in helping and guiding its students. The best thing about being a student here is the number of additional opportunities that are available and having the freedom to think of an idea and test its practical application. The major focus is on student's passion and interests along with the curriculum which helps to build our dreams. Many additional opportunities helped us in developing our interests and especially for me it made a great advantage to build up by “Art hobby” into a business. They conducted many workshops on content development and a 50 hour android studio workshop which helped me in building my application. Being a student of Computer Science & Technology has helped me in growing my passion into business by learning several aspects of business & management along with the technological knowledge. Many techniques taught gained me tremendous knowledge and played a major role in building my application. A lot of seminars and conferences are held very frequently that gives a lot of practical exposure. Especially meetings with faculty who have industry experience taught me to explore myself with the dream of being an Entrepreneur. Teachers being ever ready to help by not only delivering classroom teachings, but also providing the students with real-time case studies and hands on industry experience with field project works are the major pillars of the learning gained from this esteemed university. I have been a student at Dayananda Sagar University for three years in the department of Computer Science & Technology and from what I have experienced, I can tell you it is a great university. The teachers are very reasonable and fair. The teaching methods implemented is excellent and the rules help keep the college safe and in order. There is an equal balance of learning and reviewing information so that everyone gets what is to be done and their tutoring if we need it. There are many opportunities for Dayananda Sagar students even outside the campus. The infrastructure of the university is excellent with innovation labs. The teachers are highly qualified and I know they want us to succeed. They always believed in me and they make sure that I try my hardest on everything I do. We have student access to learning materials which provides all semester notes, quiz, previous year question papers. The after-college activities are something to look forward to and have each individual working hard. The after-college programs are very fun and provide students something to do rather than just doing homework all the time. The university has provided its best resources and good memories which I will carry on along. I very much appreciate everything all of my teachers have done for me such as helping me when I’ve had problems with assignments, or just encouraging me to always try and by no means refrain from what I was originally doing. As a student of Computer Science & Technology department I would like to emphasize on the entrepreneurial and management aspect of the curriculum. To begin with we have a project focused learning, where we're given the choice to select the domain we individually find most interesting to implement our ideologies. To compliment this our department has a tailor made curriculum that is industry driven. We study subjects such as Economics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management and Digital Marketing. Furthermore our department organises workshops, hands on sessions, seminars etc. Where we get to interact with industry experts to learn and understand the market requirements. In addition to this our HOD Dr. Satish sir who has more than 30 years of industry experience essentially mentor's us and provides us guidance on our endeavors. To summarize, the Technology Entrepreneurship Programme has guided us in creating technology-enabled products. Additionally, the programme has helped us improve our communication, teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. With the help of this program, we are now able to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career option. I am student of Dayananda Sagar University studying in Department of Computer Science & Technology. The University has always believed in helping and guiding its students. DSU along with academics encourages its students to take part in various workshops and trainings that makes the students industry ready. An example of it being various workshops and master class series held in our university. One such masterclass initiated by the dept. of Computer Science and technology was Android app development workshop , which was a 50 hrs workshop that gave many students a hands on training on google android platform. The experience of the faculty made me stronger and took me a step ahead in being a better engineer. I love the infrastructure of DSU and the world class labs. My name is Shivaraj B. H., and I've been studying computer technology at Dayananda Sagar University for 4 years now. During that time, I've learned a lot, all because of the institution's and my professors' ongoing support. I was permitted to use the innovation labs even before my first day of classes at college. I would frequently stay up late working, but I was never asked to leave the lab. The nicest thing about the department, in my opinion, is that you not only learn about the technology but also how to market and sell it through classes in business and entrepreneurship. AIC-DSU assists us in obtaining funding for our ideas, allowing us to translate them into reality. I also like to thank the placement department for guiding me in choosing the proper career path. Overall, my experience here has been beautiful, and this wouldn't have been possible without the institution's founder, Barrister Dayananda Sagar, who built a solid foundation and provided us with the chance to acquire the skills we need to meet the challenges of the outside world.
