Welcoming the 20th Batch of the Executive MBA Program at Dayananda Sagar University

On February 22, the faculty and staff of Executive Education at Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bengaluru, gathered on campus to welcome the 20th batch of the Executive MBA program. Since its inception in 2018, the program has grown significantly, enrolling over 2,000 working professionals and establishing itself as a premier choice for mid-career professionals seeking career advancement.

The Executive MBA program at DSU is designed to equip working professionals with advanced leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and a deep understanding of technology and sustainability. It offers a flexible and supportive learning structure, ensuring that professionals can balance their academic and work commitments effectively. As part of the event, faculty and staff engaged in an afternoon of brainstorming and deliberation, discussing potential improvements to the program. The session focused on enhancing curriculum relevance, incorporating emerging business trends, leveraging industry partnerships, and integrating cutting-edge technological tools to further enrich the learning experience. With a strong commitment to academic excellence and professional development, the Executive MBA at DSU continues to shape the future of managerial talent in India and beyond. The 20th batch marks yet another milestone in this journey, reinforcing DSU’s reputation as a leader in executive education.

Outstanding Student

Dr Rizwan Ahmed, Executive MBA, Semester II, June 2024, was invited to the MSME Award Function on February 13, 2025, held under the auspices of the Global Investors Meet (GIM) 2025 and organized by the Government of Karnataka. His organization, Yusr Holding Pvt Ltd, was selected as a distinguished entity for its remarkable contribution to bringing foreign investment into India, particularly in the medical tourism and education sectors. He accepted this award on his company's behalf and participated in signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between his organization and the Government of Karnataka. The Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka presented him with an award.
