The School of Commerce & Management Studies (PG), just concluded a session with EBSCO.
An Awareness Program on Doing Effective Scholarly Research using EBSCO Business Source Database on Jan 27, 2022.
This is much needed for students, professors and aspiring PhD candidates for their research and review pusposes.

Winners of Jade-Krishnamurthy Business Plan Competition

We have announced the winners and the Jade-Krishnamurthy Business Plan Competition came to a grand closure.
First Prize: Ms. Sabiha Armin - Executive MBA student
Second Prize: Ms. Anusha P Machado - MBA Student
The panel of Judges were: Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy, Mrs. Srivani Jade, Ms. Ranjita Raman, Prof. Jitendranath Patri & Prof. Thiagarajan Rajagopalan
The competition conducted by Club Acura is headed by Dr.Shweta Tewari, Assistant Professor, SCMS.
The competition which kicked off on August 15, 2021 has traversed through six months of workshops, seminars and selection.
Our thanks to Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy, USA and jaro education, Mumbai for supporting this initiative with the first and second prizes.
Workshops and Seminars were conducted by Prof. Jitendranath Patri, Prof. Thiagarajan Rajagopalan, Prof. Pramod Deshpande, CA Rajat Rashmi and Sachin Kumar and we thank them for their time and commitment to furthering the cause of women's entrepreneurship.
And a big thanks to the Dean, Prof. Arakalgud Nagaraj Subbarao for making it all happen.
We will be making a big announcement for the next round and this time its going to be bigger and better.

Session on Sensitizing Students

Dayananda Sagar University - School of Commerce & Management Studies (PGP) recently organized a session on sensitizing students about Sexual Harassment at the Workplace. This was done for our MBA students who are going to companies for their internships. The session was conducted online keeping the current pandemic situation in mind. The session was conducted by Prof. Samudyata Sreenath - Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Academics), School of Law, Dayananda Sagar University
