Executive MBA - June 2019

The June 2019, Executive MBA program kicked off with students from the best of national and international organizations based out of India. This management program for working professionals is held at Dayananda Sagar University’s Innovation Campus on Hosur Road on alternate weekends.
Through this 17-months learning experience, the executive will complete four intensive trimesters, each extending to four months. The programme consists of core courses, specialization courses depending on the student’s choice, a capstone project.
The core courses are a brilliant mix of theory and practice and are brought alive by professors’ of practice.
Strategy: Learn how to generate, evaluate, and choose strategic alternatives, in addition to strategy development processes, strategy implementation, and strategic change processes.
Marketing: A comprehensive introduction to the field of strategic marketing and decision-making.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Get to know the systems, tools and techniques used to successfully manage innovation.
Corporate Finance: We provide you with insights and practical tools that will help you make sound financial decisions.
Managerial Economics: Develop an intuitive and analytical feeling for the working of the market mechanism.
Management Accounting: Understand the concepts and tools behind management accounting, allowing you to “connect the dots” between numbers and management decisions.
Leadership: Identify challenges and improve your own performance by developing a personal leadership model.
Human Resource Management: Address human resource topics from a business perspective and learn how to implement more effective HRM practices and systems.
Business Ethics in Practice: Understand the role of ethics in management and the importance of both personal and corporate integrity and accountability.
Specialization courses deal with different management functions.
The Capstone Project is an extended effort. Executives will work to solve a real life challenge from their own companies, applying key learning from the programme. This project allows participants to progressively apply and adapt their knowledge to a real case scenario.
The curriculum is based on case studies, exposing the executive to a broad set of real life business problems. The knowledge of lecturers and experience of participants combine to make for a wealth of practical ideas to take back to their company throughout the programme. The intense schedule encourages insightful discussions, both within and outside of the classroom, and opens up the opportunity for a richly diverse international network.
