The Board Room Bid

"The Board Room Bid," organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of the School of Commerce & Management Studies (UG) on April 16, 2025, was an event designed to give students hands-on experience with startup operations. Participants used virtual capital to bid for leadership roles such as CEO, CFO, and CMO, then worked in teams to develop business ideas, create product names, plan marketing strategies, and design logos. The event was judged by Dr. Roohi Kursheed Khan S, who provided valuable feedback and insights. Through this experience, students improved their strategic thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills, helping them prepare for future business challenges.

Leadership Development Program

The School of Commerce and Management Studies successfully conducted a one-day Leadership Development Program on April 29, 2025, to provide undergraduate students with an enriching experiential learning opportunity. Designed to go beyond theoretical instruction, the program engaged students in a variety of interactive and hands-on activities such as team-building exercises, and leadership challenges that simulated real-world situations. These activities were thoughtfully curated to nurture key leadership competencies, including effective communication, critical thinking, decision-making, emotional intelligence, and teamwork. The program emphasized self-awareness, personal accountability, and ethical leadership, encouraging students to explore and refine their leadership styles. By participating in this immersive learning experience, students-built confidence and developed the mindset and skills required to lead with responsibility and purpose in academic, professional, and community settings.
