National Entrepreneurship Network
The School of Commerce & Management Studies has associated with the National Entrepreneurship Network a well-recognized body supported by the Wadhwani Foundation, to offer our students immersive Entrepreneurship courses. The NEN Trust was setup in 2008 to play the critical role of establishing an entrepreneurship ecosystem in a large number of tier 1 and 2 academic campuses across India. The goal was to enable young people on campuses to ‘do’ entrepreneurship while still on campus so that they could actively build aspiration, skills, confidence and networks which would increase their chances of starting new ventures successfully sooner rather than later upon graduation.
The initiative will happen through our recently established COPE - Entrepreneurship, managed by Prof Jitendranath Patri.
Entrepreneurship is a pillar that the school has adopted, and we want to persuade students to follow a path of entrepreneurship and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Entrepreneurship is specially emphasised in the BBA program as a differentiator. We are very excited by this association.
