The session began with a Welcome Address delivered by Dr.Anupama Ghoshal followed by the session facilitated by the resource person, Prof.Bharti S Gopal and ending with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr.Deepanjana Varshney. Dr.Punith Cariappa, Dean-SCMS thanked Prof.Bharti for her enlightening session and handed over a floral bouquet as a gesture of appreciation to the Resource Person of the workshop. The Guest was also invited to the Dean’s office and requested to share her experience in the Visitor’s Diary in SCMS office.

Business stalls were set up by Entrepreneurship Club - SCMS to promote the spirit of Entrepreneurship among students. Total of 11 teams with 70 students set up business stalls in the campus and made profitable business for a day with all smiles. Dedicated roses as gifts, fun filled games, mouthwatering snacks, yummy biriyani, rolls, donuts, fruit salads and ice creams were on offer to relish and enjoy. Students and staff of DSU and DSI had a wonderful celebration of entrepreneurial josh.

An Industrial visit to TVS Motor Company Ltd was organised on 11th March 2019. Students from 4th semester BBA ‘A’ and ‘B’ section were accompanied by 2 faculty members. Mr. Vishal, HRD, addressed the students in detail about the origin of the company, assembly part of two wheeler and BMW two wheeler, number of employees working on shift basis etc. He also briefed us on how Factories Law and Labour Laws are applicable to the industry and how the industry adheres to the rules and regulations framed by the government. Students had a great learning and industry exposure.

An Industrial visit to Jindal Aluminium Ltd was organised on 02-03-2019. IV and II BBA students accompanied by 3 faculty members visited the industry. Mr.U. S Sahoo, Senior Manager HR, addressed the students in detail about the functioning of the Aluminium industry. He also briefed us on how Factories Law and Labour Laws are applicable to the industry and how the industry adheres to the rules and regulations framed by the government. They were taken for the industry round under the supervision of 3 technical guides. Students had good industry exposure a great learning.
