The School of Computer Applications, organized a hands-on technical workshop titled " Generative AI for Creative and Practical Applications ". The session was held on Monday, 24 November 2025, immediately following the Gen-AI workshop, for the 3rd semester MCA students.

This highly interactive session was spearheaded by a distinguished alumnus from the 2023 batch, providing students with an opportunity to learn practical, cutting-edge AI development directly from industry-experienced graduates.

This event aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by providing a practical, industry-relevant learning experience led by an alumnus. It also contributes to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by fostering innovation through teaching students how to develop sophisticated multi-LLM applications using cutting-edge tools like Olama and the Gemini API.

The Grand Finale – Tech@Bangalore 2025 was a flagship technology event organized by Infosys on 20th November 2025 at the Infosys Campus, Electronic City, Bangalore. With the theme “Unlocking Unlimited Possibilities with Tech”, the event aimed to bring together students, educators, and industry professionals to explore the latest advancements in technology and innovation. It served as a platform for young minds to engage with emerging digital trends, witness innovative projects, and gain exposure to the evolving landscape of the IT industry.

The School of Computer Applications, in association with Cynux ERA and EC-Council, organized a three-day Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU) training workshop from November 17th to 19th, 2025. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Mohammed Tousif, Founder and CEO of Cynux ERA. The workshop aimed to provide students with a strong foundation in ethical hacking and cybersecurity, combining theoretical concepts with hands-on learning. Participants gained exposure to real-world security tools, techniques, and practices essential for protecting digital systems and information assets.

The Faculty Development Programme titled “From Quality to Excellence: Innovations in Curriculum, Teaching, and Assessment” is organised by the School of Computer Applications, Dayananda Sagar University, and will be conducted from 17-11-2025 to 22-11-2025, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The FDP aims to equip educators with contemporary pedagogical practices that enhance teaching effectiveness and learner outcomes. It promotes continuous professional development by integrating innovative, learner-centric strategies and outcome-based education. The programme aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting inclusive, equitable, and high-quality teaching practices that elevate academic standards.

The event was organized by Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) to formalize the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vortex IQ Limited, United Kingdom. The event highlighted a collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening AI-driven education, research, innovation, and skill development. This initiative directly supports the Sustainable Development Goal SDG 4: Quality Education, by enabling advanced learning opportunities, global exposure, and industry-academia partnerships that contribute to long-term educational and societal growth.

The MCA PG-CET 2025 Inauguration marked the ceremonial opening of the academic journey for the new cohort of MCA aspirants. The seminar hall hummed like a freshly booted system—full of anticipation, quiet energy, and minds ready to compile the next phase of their academic life. The event welcomed students, faculty, and dignitaries to initiate the academic year with purpose and enthusiasm.

The NSS Unit of Dayananda Sagar University , SCA organized a Road Safety Awareness Program at Cheelur Village on 7th November 2025. The event aimed to educate school children and villagers on traffic safety, road discipline, and preventive measures to reduce accidents.

The Aptitude Skills for Placements training, conducted from 03/11/2025 – 07/11/2025, aimed at training current students of BCA Semester III for facing campus placements. The session, had covered concepts like basic arithmetic, probability etc.
