Prof. Nagaraj Subbarao is the Dean of the School of Commerce & Management Studies and a professor of strategy, leadership and organization theory. He is a Master Mariner with specializations in Navigation and Dredging Technology. He has an MBA, M.Phil. and PhD in Human Resource Management and Organization Behaviour with an advanced specialization in Leadership and Strategy from the University of Illinois (UC), USA.

Prof. Nagaraj Subbarao, as Captain, commanded state-of-the-art ships the world over in sometimes extremely arduous circumstances. He is passionate about team building and ethical leadership. He believes universities should define work's future and craft superior-quality human resources. He has been an academic over the last sixteen years and has developed unique pedagogical paradigms.

He consults in leadership, culture and team dynamics and has a deep interest in sports and history.

Dr. Vasudevan is an honours student in engineering from the College of Engineering-Guindy, having an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore, and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Purdue University. He has 32 years of industry experience. His clients include MNC firms like Unilever, ITC Foods, Castrol, AO-Smith, Maruti Suzuki, Pepsi, GECIS, GENPACT, Fidelity, HSBC Bank, Globus retailer, Titan, Tanishq, Titan eye plus, BPL Limited, BPL MOBILE, International Cell phone operators, and international automotive customers. He served as General Manager of Marketing for a multi-product durables company, as Vice-president of Analytics with an MNC Bank, and ran a start-up for a long time. He is a professor of strategy and analytics at SCMS, Dayananda Sagar University.

Dr. S Sai Ganesh is Professor of Marketing, Strategy & Brand Management with 20 + years of teaching experience. He has a Ph.D. degree from Periyar University. He has published more than 20 papers in National and International Journals and presented more than 25 papers in conferences. He is on the editorial board of some leading International Journals published from India, Nigeria and the USA. Dr. S Sai Ganesh is a member of thesis evaluation and doctoral committee of Anna University, Bharathiar University, Bharathidasan University, Periyar University, etc. Two scholars have completed Ph.D. in the area of Management under his guidance. He has delivered lectures as a resource person in various training programmes.

Prof.Anant Pophali is a senior level executive with 28 years of experience in global IT services industry in various leadership roles. He possesses extensive experience of setting up sizable IT services units in India, transition of services and stabilizing operations to steady state. He was with AIG Inc., as “Head & Director of AIG Data Services, India” and “Global Head of IT Professional Services Governance”.

Prof.Padmalatha N A has professional experience of 20+ years in academics and has a Ph.D. She has more than 20 publications in national and International journals to her research credit. Her areas of research are mobile computing, big data analytics, Project Management, Quality Management and supply chain management.

Prof Suresh Ranganathan is a professor of Marketing and Retail Management, with 18 plus years of experience in teaching, research and the industry spanning diverse organizations of repute. He has a Ph.D. in Marketing Management..

Prof. Mohan Srinivasan worked at IBM India as Practice Area Leader - Digital and Offering Manager - Cloud Modernization. He is Post graduate in Industrial Engineering and is PMP® and IBM certified Senior Project Manager. He has more than 30 years IT experience with Retail and Banking customers. He teaches courses on Operations Management, Quality Management, Project Management and Systems Management.

Prof. Nisha Goyal is an Assistant Professor of Finance. She has about 11 years of teaching and research experience in reputed management institutions. She holds a PhD from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur in 2017 and qualified UGC NET-JRF in 2012. Her research work is published in reputed international publishers like Emerald, Wiley and Science direct. She actively participated in various national and international conferences. She is a regular reviewer for Emerald publishing, Taylor and Francis and Inderscience journals. Her research work has achieved more than 325 citations of her work with h-index 6. Her research interest includes Corporate Finance, Behavioral Finance and Financial literacy..

Prof. Shweta Tewari is Professor of Marketing and holds a DBA degree from S.P Jain school of Global management.Along with her research experience she also demonstrates 8+ years of corporate experience.

Prof. K Sanjay is an industry veteran with over two decades of experience in financial services and insurance sectors. He has served as a senior executive in some of India’s leading companies (e.g., Tatas, HDFC) for over 20 years. He brings to bear his managerial experience as well as cutting-edge knowledge from world-class training programs. He has an engineering degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA. His core competencies are in three areas: sales management, entrepreneurship, and organization behavior. His mission is to create world class managers with Indian values.

Prof. Darpana Singh MBA (Marketing), Certified Anti Money Laundering Investigator, Trained and Certified by “The British Council” as an IELTS Trainer. NCC- A B and C Certificate holder with BLC-RD.
Prior to joining School of Commerce & Management Studies(PG), Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru as Assistant Professor, was associated with HSBC- HDPI across various departments which include- Global Banking and Markets- Credit and Risk (Internal Monitoring and Control), Know Your Customer- Global Remediation Team, Customer Relationship Centre.
Passionate about teaching. Research interest lies in Human Resource Management specifically in Learning and Development.

Prof. Pavithra. S holds a PhD in Human Resource & MBA (HR) Degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University , PGDMM from KSOU, B.Sc., Degree in “Maths, Electronics and Mathematics” from Bangalore University. She has 10 years of experience in academics and research. She has authored multiple research papers which are published in reputed International and National journals. Her Research interest includes Employee Engagement, Social Media and Leadership.

Prof. Jayashree N is an Assistant Professor of Finance. She has completed her post-graduation in MBA with dual specialization on Finance and Human Resource and qualified UGC NET in Management in the year 2012. She is pursuing PhD in the area of HR from VTU. She has 8 years of experience in academics. She has published several papers in National and International journals and also have authored an E-book titled “Management Accounting” for I sem MBA Students. She has also completed professional certification courses from Coursera, NPTEL and IIMB.

Prof. C Kumar is engaged as an Associate Professor in the area of IT & Systems Management. He holds a Ph.D. and carries with him over 20 years of experience in academic research and teaching. Prof. Kumar has published more than two dozen business case studies and papers, along with a book on E-governance. He has spoken actively at various forums and has also conducted several workshops for students and working executives. His research and teaching interests revolve around emerging technologies, business models, e-business competitiveness and e-governance for development.

Dr. Sagar Manjunath is a professor of economics and analytics at the School of Commerce & Management Studies. He obtained Ph.D. in ‘Agricultural Economics’ from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra, Bengaluru in 2016. He has wide knowledge and experience in Agricultural Economics & Statistical Tools. He has more than 11 years of experience in corporate, research and academic areas. He qualified UGC-NET and ICAR- NET in 2015, and has been awarded Post-Doctoral Associate from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2018.

He has presented various research articles related to Natural Resource Management, Climate Economics, Production Economics, Agri-business Management and Predictive Modeling in national and international conferences. He has published books and research articles in peer- reviewed journals like Mausam, published by India Meteorological Department (IMD). His research areas include policies on Natural Resource Management, Climate Economics, ICT for Agriculture and Rural Development, Technology Adoption, Agriculture and Rural Development, Agri-business Development, etc. He is passionate about agriculture and has trained more than 8,000 farmers across Karnataka. He is a recipient of several awards for his contribution to Agriculture and Rural Development areas.

Dr. Abhijit Chakraborty is a double Masters in Business Administration and in Commerce and has qualified UGC NET in both Management and Commerce. He is a lifetime member and Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. He completed his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar in the area of Finance. He has more than ten years of corporate experience in Financial Industry, mostly in Banking and Insurance companies like Axis Bank, Tata AIA, and Birla Sunlife. He has published papers in ABDC, Scopus & UGC Indexed journals and presented papers at International and National Conferences. He is a reviewer of reputed journals from Springer, Emerald and Web of Science. His research interests are related to FinTech, Insurance, Risk Management and Economic Growth.

Dr. Chakraborty is presently working as Assistant Professor and Deputy Director ( EE )in the School of Commerce and Management Studies, Dayanand Sagar University and teaches courses in Finance.

Sandeep Raman Sharma An astute techno commercial professional, B.E(Mech.) with Hons. from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Advanced PG Diploma in Business Management & Finance and having completed certificates in “International Trade Logistics’ from IIFT, New Delhi and “Intellectual Property and Trade Laws” from Indian Law institute, New Delhi .
He has spent more than three decades in leading Indian Corporates like Titan Industries Limited and MNCs like Honeywell Inc(HTS India Pvt Ltd) and Continental GmbH(Continental Automotive Components India Pvt Ltd) and have experience in leading big teams of Project Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, New Product Development, Program Management, Global Sourcing and Procurement Functions . His latest assignment was at M/s Continental as Head of Supply Chain Management /Operations for India Market. He has been a practitioner of Lean Management and Six Sigma Methodologies.

Prof.Amulya Panda is professor of supply chain management, operations and project management. He was at General Electric, India for over two decades. He has a Ph.D. from IIT-M, Chennai.

Prof.Jitendra Patri is Former CMO of Central (Future Group) and Principal Consultant – Xeno. He teaches marketing management and is an alumnus of IIM- B, Bengaluru

Prof. Commander Himanshu Joshi is an Indian Navy Veteran, Anti-Submarine warfare (ASW) & Search and Rescue (SAR) helicopter pilot. He specialises in Naval Logistics & Administration, is a specialist assessor of Group Behaviour, a Counsellor and a Psychotherapist. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Naval Academy and teaches subjects on HR, OB and Leadership and Communication. Prof. Joshi is an Educational Entrepreneur and his organization prepares young people for a meaningful work life and a career including the Indian Armed Forces.

Prof. Purnendu Maji, A first class Graduate in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology ( Previously known as Bengal Engineering College , Shibpur ). Passed out in the year 1992.

Worked for different Manufacturing and service Industries. Usha Martin Industries ( Steel & wire rope Manufacturing ) , Graphite India Limited ( Chemical Industry ) and in Telecom Sector in Tata Teleservices Limited and Idea Cellular Ltd ( Aditya Birla Group ). Gained rich 26 + years of experience in different managerial domain. Worked in capacities as Operation Manager and worked extensively in the area of supply chain management. A certified internal auditor from BVQI and has implemented concepts of ISO 9000 & TQM.

Pursued graduate diploma in material management from Indian Institute of Material Management in 2000-2001.

Participated as a core team member in implementing ERP systems in Manufacturing industries to bring efficiency in overall Supply Chain Management in the organisation. Conceptualised and practised Advance Partnering , Vendor Managed inventory ( VMI ) in the field of supply chain Management.

Prof. S Sharma MBA-HR (Pursuing PhD) is a UGC NET Qualified faculty with a total experience of 15+ Years in Academia and Corporates world. Her interest lies in teaching subjects from management and technology domain and she believes in developing strong acumen, right approach towards life among students to help them in dealing with challenging situations in life.

Prof. Sharma has hosted a number of national and international research conferences, webinars and has published a number of articles, copyrights, and patents, to her credit. She has been a recipient of prestigious Academic Research Fellowship by Chiba Institute of Technology, Japan in the year 2019-2020. She is a member of several networking professional bodies and has been awarded with a number of awards from time to time.

Prof. Navita Vijay is an enthusiastic finance professional who brings up 12+ years of experience from industry and academia. Her areas of interest are Fin-Tech, Financial Inclusion, Stock Market, Technology adoption in Banking sector to name a few. Completed Advance Research and Data Analytics certificate from IIM, Kozhikode to bring up proficiency in research skills in finance domain.

During her previous stint in academic institutions, she was an active member of Institute Innovation Council (Govt. Of India Initiative for HEIs) as Innovation Ambassador. Prof. Abhijit Ranjan Das is an Assistant Professor in Finance. He completed his Master of Commerce (M.Com) from Assam University, Silchar. He is pursuing a PhD (Thesis submitted) from the National Institute of Technology Silchar, in the domain of Finance. He has qualified in the UGC NET and the North East State Eligibility Test (NESET) in Commerce. He has published several research papers in ABDC, Scopus, and UGC Care indexed journals and presented numerous research papers at International and National Conferences. He is a reviewer for reputed journals, including Emerald, Sage, and others. His research interests include Behavioral Finance and Corporate Finance.

Prof. Prakruthi N. Banwasi graduated from the National Law School of India University and has aided in linguistic betterment for lakhs of students and professionals.
His unique method of proselytising communicative English betterment by simplifying linguistic structure has been lauded by students and professionals.
He has taught in various colleges including National Law School of India University (NLSIU), National Law India University (NLIU, Bhopal), Manipal University (Bangalore Campus).

Prof. Chaminda Hettiarachchi is a Co-Founder and a Director at FabLanka Foundation, a Social Enterprise working on Industry 4.0 technologies including 3-D Printing for socio-economic development in Sri Lanka. Chaminda is also the CEO/Managing Director at Dil Consultancy, a research and management consultancy company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He teaches project management and e-business as a visiting lecturer for MBA programs at University of Colombo and University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka.

Chaminda has 20 years of experience in the industry, academia, research and consultancy in 20 countries. Chaminda is a B.Sc. (Engineering) graduate from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka (1996). Chaminda’s has been a pioneer in popularizing digital technology in Sri Lanka and he has actively contributed to digital technology diffusion from 2005. His latest contribution is introducing fourth industrial revolution technologies to Sri Lanka. He has been conducting programs from 2014 to the government, policy makers, academia, corporate sector, rural community and to the general public on the impact of Industry 4.0 and how to prepare the society for the digital transformation. He is a most sought after resource person and a keynote speaker nationally and internationally on implementing Industry 4.0 for socio-economic development in Sri Lanka. His current research interests are in the areas of Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation, Systems Thinking and Sustainable Development Goals.

Prof. H.N. Shankar was the former CEO of DDE:ORG Systems, Denmark and has over four decades of experience in the manufacturing, IT and ITES industries. He teaches Business Analytics. He has over three decades’ in the industry and has a deep understanding of prescriptive and predictive analytics and is accomplished data analytics professional with impressive career credentials of more than two decades

Prof. A.G. Krishnan is a professor of finance and is a practicing Chartered Accountant. He has a deep understanding of financial risk management.

Prof. M.G. Raghuraman is a former officer of the prestigious Indian Railway Engineering Service Cadre and after serving the Indian Railways, he was the CIO at Mphasis, Bengaluru. He teaches courses on Operations Management, Project Management and Systems Management.

Prof.Rajat Rashmi is a chartered accountant by profession and is a professor of the Legal Aspects of Business and International Finance. She had a successful career with Oracle before turning to being a management consultant..

Prof.Karunakara Kudupu, is an alumnus of NIT-Surthakal, Karnataka and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. He served as General Manager, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bengaluru and is an expert in contracts and contract law. He is a professor of marketing and consumer behaviour.

Prof.Ramesh N has over 30 years of Industry experience, majorly in Satellite and Satellite services for developed / developing countries in AMEA across various sectors. Addressed the Satellite services market as it oscillated between Media and Data on an 8 / 10-year cycle. Presently actively involved in delivering Satellite Bandwidth to Internet hungry and IoT markets for GEO and LEO satellites. Prof. Ramesh is a faculty of marketing.

Prof. Santosh Chandrashekar is Senior Manager at Statestreet Global Asset Advisors and a chartered accountant by profession. He teaches Financial Risk Management and portfolio management.

Prof Hari Ambadapudi is a seasoned business leader with 18 years of professional experience in the areas of Analytics and Decision Sciences. He has provided strategic guidance, led, and delivered engagements across industries and across geographies. His experience is focussed on business value creation for Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains. He has built and nurtured teams for delivering decision sciences work in Supply Chain Management in various capacities. Prof.Thiagarajan Rajagopalan is a Founder and CEO of Tripeur, the smartest corporate travel platform that everyone loves. Prof. Satish Talikota has over 25 years of experience in SAP S4 HANA Business Process Consulting and Management, Software Business Development, and Large Multinational ERP Program Delivery. Prof.Sanjai K, is an Information Technology professional with 27 years of experience in Enterprise Software having done a variety of roles spanning across Product Management, IT Strategy Consulting, Presales, Project / Program Management and Delivery Management. He is passionate about building products and is a Fellow with the International Software Product Management Association. He is an alumnus of NIT – Trichy.

Prof. Aditya Ganti, is an accomplished international Business Development, Consulting and Marketing professional with 18+ years of experience in developing and executing Client and Channel Strategies for driving business growth in technology industry. He has an MBA degree from the prestigious IE Business School Madrid, Spain.

Prof.Pramod Deshpande An Insurance Industry veteran, Pramod has more than 35 years of experience, the first 14 years in an Insurance company and the next 20+ years providing technology solutions to Insurance companies, providing him opportunities to learn the insurance business in North America, the UK, Europe, Japan, China, South America, etc. He has worked on mission-critical backend systems and also has developed various Innovative Solutions for Insurance Industry. For many software companies, he has set up Insurance Education and certification programs.

Dr.Saibaba received PhD in Finance from AIMA-AMU, Aligarh with special focus on Corporate Governance. He is a fellow of the Cost and Management Accountants, India and Member of Institution of Engineer India .His teaching career in finance area spans fourteen years. Besides teaching he has experience in Ttitan industries Ltd over 13 years as a Group Manager in the areas watch case, bracelet and jewelry manufacturing. Prior to this he has 16 years of experience in HMT Ltd, decade of which as Vendor development Manager specializing in watch cases and rest in cutting tool manufacturing for Special purpose and General purpose Machine tools. He is member of Strategic Management forum.

Prof. Sachin Kumar Manjhi is an Industry leader in Data Science, with a proven track record of leading high performing data science teams and developing enterprise-scale data science products and solutions leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to drive value for clients.
