Programme Educational Objectives (PEO's)

BBA – Regular

  1. To provide high quality professional education to management students.

BBA – BFSI

  1. To focus on the development of Conceptual, Analytical and Management skills in the fields of Banking, Stock Markets, Insurance and other Financial services and Institutions
  2. To focus on the holistic development of the student with conceptual clarity, analytical ability, critical thinking and communication skills.
  3. To gain practice in recognizing managerial problems and taking
  4. To facilitate entrepreneurial or self employment options.
  5. To prepare corporate minds with a positive mental attitude for optimum performance, committed service and independent thinking.
  6. To develop management professionals who are able to leverage theoretical knowledge to design sustainable solutions to real world problems.

BCOM – ACCA

Students will be able to:

  1. Understand and explain the structure of the framework of international accounting
  2. Understand the processes and functions involved in the entrepreneurial space like funding, sustainability, venture planning etc
  3. Apply relevant financial reporting standards to key elements of financial reports
  4. Identify and apply disclosure requirements for companies in financial reports and notes
  5. Prepare group financial statements including subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures
  6. Analyse and interpret financial transactions and events
  7. Evaluate investments and financing decisions
  8. Identify and manage financial risks
  9. Prepare for and plan the audit process, whilst reviewing and reporting its findings.

BCOM – CMA

Students will be able to:

  1. Discuss the concepts of Management Accounting, Finance and the other areas of Commerce
  2. Analyze financial statements to interpret organizational efficiency
  3. Analyze, interpret and apply concepts of Financial, Cost and Management Accounting for business decision- making
  4. Execute the best practices of Cost and Management accounting
  5. Exhibit the knowledge of entrepreneurial qualities and explore entrepreneurial opportunities
  6. Students will be sensitive towards ethical issues arising out of business and society interface

 

BCOM – CA

Students will be able to:

  1. Discuss the concepts of Auditing and taxation and the other areas of Commerce
  2. Analyze financial statements to interpret organizational efficiency
  3. Apply critical thinking skills by identifying and analyzing accounting issues using the relevant accounting framework.
  4. Analyze, interpret and apply concepts of Financial, Cost and Management Accounting for business decision-making
  5. Execute the best practices of Accounting, taxation and Auditing
  6. Exhibit the knowledge of entrepreneurial qualities and explore entrepreneurial opportunities
  7. Work effectively and professionally in teams
  8. Analyze and evaluate ethical problems that occur at all levels of business decision making
