I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in business analytics. It was a great time with Dayananda Sagar University. I can positively say Dayananda Sagar University has made me a better person. It has helped me develop a positive attitude towards education and discover various aspects of life. Coming to the BBA programme, the subjects and the syllabus were up to the industry standards and they modify the syllabus accordingly as per the industry requirements which was a very good sign. Another thing which I liked about this course is that they offer 4 specializations during the final year of the course which makes us choose any one based on our interest and can pursue our career in the chosen specialization. Also apart from this, the students will get an opportunity to do the internship during their final year for a period of 12 weeks based on their chosen specialization. The internship period helped me to know how the industry works in the corporate world and I am happy to tell you that the concepts that they taught in the class were being applied in a real-world during my internship period. The faculties here in the department of commerce are industry specialized, very supportive, and encouraging in all the aspects which made my course pleasant. The faculty makes sure that the teaching is educational and interactive. I feel very lucky to have studied in DSU and hope to continue maintaining strong links with the DSU community. Currently, I am pursuing my masters in business analytics from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka.

DSU SCMS is a place of unlimited opportunities. A place where you can learn and grow in a holistic way. The faculties have always been very supportive, and they put in immense effort to train us to become management professionals. The faculties taught us various courses from the very basics and then eventually build into them, which helps to easily grab concepts and their applications. I liked the fun way of learning where we had to solve business problems, curate innovative ideas, have open discussions, and frequent innovation and leadership sessions. All these activities helped to think outside the box and develop a unique problem-solving approach. Along with this, they motivate us to become a socially responsible citizen, which is truly essential. To understand businesses more elaborately we used to go for Industrial visits. It gives more clarity to the concepts we have studied. We got the liberty to get into clubs of our interest like HR/Marketing/Finance/Entrepreneurship. It brought in us a competitive mindset and the ability to play tough and challenging roles through various competitions that were held. We got numerous opportunities to learn and work on practical projects with peers. At DSU everyone gets a chance to discover his/her potential and grow as a whole, which is a lifelong learning experience, and I am fortunate to be a member of the DSU SCMS Family.
